In the hidden swamps of the Manetheren domain lie the tribal lands of Cl'Turk, where the orcs, a brutal and fearsome race, carve out their existence. These lands are dominated by powerful tribes, each with its own unique but equally savage identity. Among the most feared are the Akzar'gorak and the Urk'krak tribes.

The Akzar'gorak tribe is fiercely devoted to Ilneval, the orcan god of war and strategy. Their warriors are tacticians at heart, combining brute strength with cunning strategies to overwhelm their foes. This tribe revels in the chaos of battle, guided by the belief that war is the ultimate path to power and supremacy. Their camps are filled with the sounds of sharpening blades and the chants of warriors preparing for their next conquest.

In stark contrast, the Urk'krak tribe pledges allegiance to Yurtrus, the god of death. This tribe embraces a darker, more sadistic aspect of orcan nature. They are known for their merciless rituals and their reverence for decay and mortality. Urk'krak orcs are not just warriors but bringers of pestilence and death, leaving desolation in their wake. Their rituals often include sacrifices to appease their deity and ensure their dominance over life and death.

Orcs in Cl'Turk are imposing beings, typically standing over six feet tall, with some reaching as much as eight feet. Their olive-colored skin and massive muscles exemplify their physical prowess, while the prominent tusks jutting from their mouths serve as symbols of their ferocity. Their eyes, often described as maniacal and terrifying, reflect the depths of their primal and unyielding nature.

Life in Cl'Turk is a constant struggle for power and survival, fostering a culture that celebrates war and domination. Orcs are driven by an inherent need to prove their strength, often at the expense of other races and even rival orc tribes. This warlike existence is ingrained from birth, creating a society where only the strongest and most ruthless survive.

In this harrowing landscape, the orc tribes of Cl'Turk continue their brutal existence, shrouded by the swamps and fueled by their gods' call to conquer and destroy.

The tribe known as Akzar'gorak is for only those orcs who are truly sadistic and evil enough to not care about life itself. Those who have decided to walk the dark path of war and destruction worship Ilneval, the Orcan God of War and Strategy, above all other forces governing the universe. Through intensive sacrifice of all beings, elves above anything else, the power of Ilneval is appeal too.

Akzar'gorak is a solitary tribe, preferring not to associate with other tribes, nor do other tribes wish to associate with them due to their devotion to war. Ilneval delights in the torment and decay of others and he achieves this pleasure through his devoted worshippers constantly sacrificing the scalps of their recent kills. Ever since the beginning, members of Akzar'gorak have been taught to find delight in sacrificing the weaker races. Elves, Gnomes, Halflings, Humans are all weak in the eyes of Ilneval. In addition, almost every scalp is accepted by Ilneval, with the exception of our own blood. Those who can slay the mighty dragons will be rewarded above anything else.

The symbol of Tribe Akzar'gorak is an orcan hand clenching an Elven scalp still dripping fresh with blood.

Orcan history is difficult to come by given that orcs in general have very little interest in chronicling their society or activities. In addition, they tend to be incredibly loyal to their tribe. Any information they might know about their past is rarely shared even with another tribe, let alone outsiders. As such, it is necessary to rely on outside observations buried in the written records of other cultures.

The first recorded presence of orcs on Alu'drial dates back nearly seven hundred years. Local farmers began reporting 'roving bands' spotted near their lands in the plains of Manetheren. Nomadic orcan tribes were not uncommon at the time as only a handful of unstructured tribes existed. It would not be until three centuries later that organized tribes would begin to emerge.

As such, these reports drew little attention until the wreckage of several vessels from the nearby city of Treeth was discovered. Rumors spread and paranoia grew as the people slowly convinced themselves that nothing less than a full-scale invasion of Alu'drial was under way. Within the span of a single month however, before fear gave way to violent retaliation against the perceived threat, the orcan 'invaders' disappeared. Life in Treeth returned to normal and the incident was quickly forgotten.

It would be over one hundred and fifty years before the orcs resurfaced. Very little is known about these missing years even among the orcs themselves. A series of short but bloody conflicts in the Grey mountains drew attention to their presence. The orcs, later called the Warring Tribes, were the subject of much discussion across the lands of Alu'drial. Why the orcs had come and from where were questions heavily debated, but the primary issue at hand was what to do now that they had been discovered. While no conclusive evidence has ever been found to support any theories as to where the orcs originated, it is assumed today that these were in fact the same orcs that had fought in Treeth so long ago. The open plains and rolling hills of Manetheren are hardly suited to orcan lifestyles and so they would have moved further north. The Grey mountain range, near the Halls of Tyrniall's borders, provided the perfect environment. This theory is generally accepted as fact by historians around Alu'drial. The reasons behind their exodus from Manetheren have never been uncovered.

The years stretched on with no further contact from either side. The orcs, left to their own devices, established themselves in the deep valleys nestled within the heart of the mountain range, which they renamed the Cl'Turk. In the span of five years, a massive cavern for defense was constructed to guard the only passes in or out of the series of mountain ranges. With easy access to plentiful game of the valleys, and surrounded by a wall of solid rock, the orcs thrived. Their territorial borders were never disputed and remain to this day.

On a night with the Moon high in the sky, in the first Month of Summer, the peace came to a sudden halt when a group of orcs led by Soul of Black, chieftain of the Akzar'gorak Tribe, marched into the city of Lirath. The message they carried to all was clear. Death and Destruction to all that were not orc. Many of the Lirath city guards were killed and there bodies looted of what useful items the orcs could carry away. Food stores were emptied and haul off to where these foul creatures had come.

To this very day the orcs still strike fear into may races who witnessed that day. The current chieftain Nathos, who took over the role after the sudden death of Belial, brings new life to the tribe, but know orcs as we do I sure Death and Destruction will follow in this new Warlords wake.
